 The GA is not just for those with ready access to London. Many Members throughout the British Isles have formed Local Groups, or also belong to Affiliated Societies. This is one of the ways the GA supports the study of geology without boundaries. Use the links above to find out if their is a Local Group or Affiliated society near you.  |
Local Groups
Members resident outside London may request recognition as a Local Group, provided there are at least twelve participating Members. Local Groups organise their own meetings and events. There are currently 18 GA Local Groups.
